Phulkari Suit

Description

Phulkari refers to the folk embroidery of the Punjab. Although Phulkari means floral work, the designs include not only flowers but also cover motifs and geometrical shapes.The main characteristics of Phulkari embroidery are use of darn stitch on the wrong side of coarse cotton cloth with colored silken thread.

• Suit Includes 5 meter jam pure cotton fabric with phulkari work on borders and with 2.5 meter phulkari with heavy embroidery work.
• Phulkari dupatta can be used as individual shirt as well for ladies suits.
